October Got Her Wedding Band(s) !! Pics included

Yay!!! After all the turmoil picking a band, getting one made, not loving it, sending it back, and getting something totally different, I finally have my wedding bands!!!

I started out getting a 2.2 tcw shared prong eternity band. Blingy, beautiful, it was just what I thought I wanted. But when I received it, it wasn''t the right setting. So I took it back with the intention of picking a new setting, and ended up changing my mind completely!!

So I ended up getting 2 thin bead set eternity bands - and I''m finally happy! I figure I have lots of options now. One band with ering. One on each side of ering. 2 stacked together if I don''t want to wear ering, or stacked with other bands.

Umm...is there any way I could coerce you to post a pic of one band on either side of the e-ring?

I''m thinking of doing the same thing you''ve done here, basically, except with 2 bands of channel set diamonds (uh..rounds, I think...this week, LOL)

If yo don''t want to because it''s too sacred to wear ''em all at once before your wedding, no biggie....but I''m just dying to see the 3 together (bead set band, then e-ring, then other bead set band)

Thanks so much!! I was so nervous when I chose this option - since they don''t sit flush, and it wasn''t my FI''s first choice (he thinks the ering is standalone worthy) I was worried. But when I had the blingy eternity band, I wasn''t as excited as 2.2 carats should have made me!!

But I love these!! They are ever so slightly bigger than the ering, but I''m okay with that (plus I''m not willing to go back to the drawing board!).

I think I just need to get the ering polished.

Ah, you see, you have named precisel what I love so much about them: that they don''t sit flush, and hat the stone-size in your bands, and on the band of your e-ring differ. I love the non-matchy look. I think it gives your jewelry set the elegance and the air of a woman who makes independent choices, and to me, it shows that the owner has a "flair" for putting things together, as opposed to the jewelry designer having a flair for producing matched sets. It looks more "you," more your personality than that of the maker, if that makes any sense. It''s like, you don''t even have to try, and yet your elegance and taste shine through. That''s what non-matching sets say to me, anyway. It''s why I love them.

Mark was so great - took the other ring back no questions and remade these. Just wanted me to be happy, and now I am!
