It is very challenging to get a pic w/ my phone. Looks like it has faint fluorescence that is pinkish. Diamond has some color. Thoughts about what is happening here?IMG_7174.jpeg

Take a pic of just the uv lighting cardboard or other material but not paper as some is uv reactive.
I think the uv light source has a red component.
Its not uncommon.
Could also be a camera issue, does it look pink by eye?

Not sure I ever saw a cape yellowish diamond fluoresce other than blue????
Orange fluoro is an indication of manufactured diamond. An appraiser needed?

There is pink on the metal and in the lower right off the diamond.
Its the light or the camera.2IMG_7240.jpeg3IMG_7240.jpeg

The stone is not really pink in the image when it is removed from its background.
What do your eyes see as cameras are not as good as eyes!

Thanks for responding @Karl_K and @Garry H (Cut Nut). The UV light I have does seem to be more purple/violet than others based on pics. I took a pic on cardboard and the center stone fluor looks different than the others (more blue/white as I’m used to seeing). Is it because it’s a cape diamond, the setting (its bezeled and the others are prong set), my eyes are playing tricks on me, something else?

I think its the light if your seeing it by eye.
Im 99% sure the stones are fine.
To be 100% would require seeing it in person.

Hi @Mreader! Here are a few more pics. The only stamp is ”plat” so I don’t know anything about where it was made or when.
