Hello all.
I am selling my very lightly worn (2 months) engagement ring. After applying some subtle pressure (and with a close friend just being proposed to with a 2 ct. stone!) my fiance has agreed to get me a larger one just like this one ; )
I love this ring! For those who are color sensitive, and can't tolerate even a hint of warmth in your diamonds, this is the stone for you. It is EGL USA certified as an "E" color, and two separate GIA gemologists have informally confirmed it, and it is an entirely eye-clean SI1.
This stone has outstanding brightness--it literally glows! It has the lovely flower petal faceting at the center. With "Good" symmetry and polish, and a spread of 6.28 x 6.22, this is a great old-cut diamond!
The setting is a Gabriel & Co, 14kt, .85 in F-G, SI1 melee. It has 3 pointers in the halo, and 5 pointers in the shank. The setting came from ID Jewlery, and as my fiance tells me, Yuketiel told him this was the prettiest halo they had in store (short of going custom!) because all you see is diamonds. And with 3 pointers in the halo, it provides great finger coverage!
The setting is currently selling for $1595

A comparable OEC at Old World Diamonds is selling for $5467

Putting this ring together today would cost you around $7100. At $4200, this is a very good deal!
No returns, so please examine all the pictures closely and ask any questions you might have.
