It is seriously the big sister version of my own E color OEC in my avatar pic! So obviously, I think it is stunning!

Having a high color OEC was a dream come true for me - and nice ones are so hard to find!

Dust for a quick sale

Wow. That is a dream OEC. I wish I had the funds, as it certainly is a unicorn! Good luck for a quick sale.

For a sec I actually thought it was your stone!

It was a dream come true for me also. But my recent retirement finds me with hands in dirt and oil paint as my recent hobby is child portraiture. Not a place for such a stunning diamond. It should be showcased and publicly enjoyed : )

Forgive my ignorance, but can you (general you) sell an item privately without penalty once it's been consigned? I don't know the answer to this, but @keysie you may wish to check that there won't be any fees to pay to Grace if you do sell privately on PS now she has listed and advertised it on her site. I expect any PSer would check directly with Grace to confirm you are indeed the owner before parting with 28K, so she would find out.

Hope you don't take this the wrong way. A friend got hit with fees after selling their house privately after listing with an estate agent. Not sure if the principle is the same!

Also, it looks like Grace takes a 15% flat fee for consignment items over 20K. So you will come out ahead by letting her sell the item at the advertised (reduced) price, take 15% and you will receive over 31K. Not to mention being hugely better protected compared to selling privately. Please think this through.

I am just alerting PSers that although my OEC diamond is listed for a higher price on Grace's site, I am willing to sell for $28K, which is what I paid. I should have clarified that the sale would be facilitated by Grace and therefore she would receive all fees. Due to being newly polished, the value of my diamond has grown significantly, taking it from a GIA E/VS2 to a re-certified GIA E/VVS2 bringing the RAP price to over $42K as originally listed on the Jewels by Grace's site. This diamond is truly a unicorn and it may be years before another one like it is available. I adore it but it just does not fit my current lifestyle.

If anyone is interested, they should contact Grace Lavarro and JbG and she will work the sale thereby protecting both the buyer and the seller : ) Yes, I would like the higher sales price but honestly, I am impatient to sell the diamond as I have use for the funds somewhere else.

Thank you : )2.22ctoldeuropeancutdiaondGIAEVVS2_2_800x (1).jpg

I should mention that in order to get this lower price, anyone interested should either email or call Grace with the offer. Her contact information is on the Jewels by Grace website. Also, if paid by ACH, she immediately offers a 5 percent discount.

Thanks again for looking=)2
