I bought this stone in hopes of making earrings because it's so sparkly and lively and light and the clarity works for me! There is a microscopic carbon spot under the table, but it's cut so well that it falls in line with the facets and as the stone moves, it disappears. If you need a perfect clarity this isn't for you but if you hold light performance more important than inclusions, you'll like this one! There's a teeny tiny chip on the underside (see pics) which leaves the face-up in nearly perfect unaffected optics. If you're a bezel lover, this stone will work beautifully for any project as the chip cannot be seen from the top. If I were able to keep it, I'd migraine bezel it for a minimalist necklace center or earring, or mount it in a vintage platinum ring setting. It's certainly gorgeous, and at 5.2mm it is a good enough size to be quite visible and let me tell you, this stone is sparkling its little heart out!
Here you can see the teeny tiny chip underneath, and what looks like a whole bunch of carbon spots but is actually just ONE SPOT reflected efficiently by the facets!
