Off to Vegas for my Bachelorette... after a night at the ER

Hi Everyone! Just had to share that I am so excited to be off tonight for my bachelorette party with all of my bridesmaids in Vegas. The weather is supposed to be nice and I am looking so forward to some girl time by the pool and going out as a single lady for the last time!

There was a flittering moment last night when I thought it might not happen. I was rushing around trying to make dinner and I had taken out a wine glass to get a glass of wine and decided I better also reach up into the cabinet and get a water glass. Well, in a moment of haste I brought the water glass down quickly and my elbow slammed onto the wine glass, shattering it and leaving a huge piece of glass right in my elebow. After 5 hours in the ED which included an x-ray to rule out any glass in the arm, I got stitched up and sent home. It is just sore and at the most annoying place right over my elbow! I have forewarned my ladies I might need some help washing my hair, but nothing is going to stop our fun weekend. I am just going to try to be careful!

And... also super excited because the big day is 1 month from today! Just had to share!

Sucks about your elbow, man, good reminder for me to not do a million things at one time (this is totally something I would do). Hope your elbow feels better soon....and remember, ALCOHOL KEEPS THE PAIN AWAY!!

ya.. it was not fun... but it could have been a lot worse. The funny part is that I was yelling for FI to get the glass out and once he saw it he turned white! So, I had to pull it out myself!

Wow, that''s crappy luck! You are so lucky yoy didn''t sever an artery or major blood vessel. That would have thrown a spanner into the works!!!
