hey ladies!
I haven''t been around for awhile. I''ll have to catch up on all of the goings-ons. I took a small break because I found out that it is logistically impossible for my b/f to purchase the ring in 2005, let alone propose to me, and pscope was just a sad reminder that he had promised 2005. His first free day that he would be able to go to the jewelry store is December 31, 2005. For anyone who doesn''t know my background story: there is one specific B&M that he plans to purchase from. He also has not picked out the diamond yet for a setting, so it''s not like it would be a quick in-and-out purchase. They may not have a stone with the characteristics he wants. ... blah, blah, blah... But enough of my whining!

So I guess now we''re looking at early 2006? Has anyone done another poll lately about when you''re expecting the e-ring?

I''m feeling for you *hugs*. My BF promised this year it''s going to happen as well, but as of last week there have been no purchases, no decisions made, nothing. I''m trying to remain positive, miracles do happen, but I''m think it it''s going to be delayed.

Oh, Buena Girl, that sucks! I completely sympathize. I finally broke down and asked BF the other day if he thought it would be by Christmas ( like he once said it would be), and he said "No, it has been too hard to save lately."

As for the ring, I have basically been taken out of the loop. He wants to pick out the diamond alone to still keep some surprise. OH YEAH, I have some fun news!!!!!!! I am 99% sure he plans to purchase the Simon G setting with the sapphires which is the one that I secretly was hoping he would choose!
