This is my original .25ct engagement ring. I just took some photos of it with my digital camera and I am glad I did. I knew the setting wasn''t very well made - but look at the way its hardly holding on to the diamond. I think I need this reset asap!

Hi Maisie,
I, too, would like to know how the job is going! I just recently looked at some of my colored gemstone rings with a loupe and the setting for the small diamonds that surround the center stone are set horribly. I can''t believe I have been wearing them for years and haven''t lost a single melee. I am so surprised.

How long did you wear your original engagement ring?

So glad you got such a quality camera. Funny how the man made eye can see the same things your created eye does...just a tad more detailed...drag her into work with you for a tune up.

The job is lovely. I love it! The people are really nice and although we have targets (which I am exceeding!) there is no pressure if you don''t meet them.

I am working with the designer watches and fashion jewellery. I like this much better as I don''t really rate the quality of the diamonds and its not easy to sell something you don''t believe in.

I am thinking about buying a matching diamond and having them made into earrings instead. I am worried about wearing the ring now so its probably better to put it away until I can have this done.

I have been around but I mostly just read messages to catch up with what everyone is doing. I''m quite stressed at the minute as I have been having some tests and am waiting for the results. I might hear something this week so I am a bundle of nerves.
