Oh, that jewelry store high... ;)

I took my ring to my jewelers today to get unsoldered, polished, the shank fixed and the prongs tightened (my diamond moves in the v-prongs!) and I don''t know what it is about that jewelry store but I always leave happy! While I waited for them to go over my rings (I''ll be away from them till next weekend

) I looked at engagement ring settings, wedding and anniversary bands, colored stones, stud earrings and watches. I had a good 20 minutes of browsing time!

Maybe it''s because I know my rings will come back purty and polished? Maybe it''s the lights that turn my diamond into a rectangular disco ball? And something about the smell of that store! I get back to the car (poor DH is in the car with the kids, patiently waiting) smiling and DH started laughing at me!

Does anyone else get that, I don''t know, jewelry store RUSH?

Oh yeah it''s a good place!!! I was just at my local jeweler''s yesterday hitting him up for a donation for a charity silent auction. While I was there I had all my jewelry cleaned and checked and I browsed around all his goodies. Time well spent!!!

I stopped in Lester Lampert (this high end boutique jewelry store in Chicago) today on my way home from work to check out a few settings. I understand this *high* completely!

Girl I was in the jewlery store today! I posted about this great store I found in my state and I went in and the VERY nice sales man let me play with all kinds of settings! I''m thinking of resetting my ering, and they had these GORGEOUS actual replicas of antique settings in plat. And this other one I fell head over heels for...it''s fun!
