Ok, so it ain''t Idol...but does anyone watch Project Runway?

Watch it, love it, wish it was on everyday!

The only thing I don''t like is that the producers have a say in who gets voted off. That means the loose screws get kept on because they make "interesting TV." IMO, it would be more interesting if they just left it up to the judges.

No it's not Idol, but it's pretty darn good. Just starting watching Project Runway and I really like it. It was cool when they had to design dresses from items around the apartment!

Mara - you really should check out project runway. It is much fun! My friends told me I had to watch...and I finally did...I love it!

As for SYTYCD - I was a huge fan of Musa. Very sad to see him go. I have learned quite a bit about dance...like who knew I really liked "contemporary?" Not me, but I totally do!

SO addicted... I just love BRAVO in general, but Project Runway is the best!! And Lysser I agree, Malan''s speech was so sweet... I didn''t think I liked him until the end of that episode.

For anyone who hasn''t watched it yet... WATCH!!! It''s quality summer entertainment.

I just started watching last week when they air it on NBC??? Nothing else is on so i''m stuck but it''s pretty funny. Hubby had to suffer through the last 15 minutes this past week and kept rolling his eyes at me

I LOVE Project Runway. LOVE it! Though, they voted my favorite character off the second episode!

He was so fabulous...his creepy laugh cracked me up every time! I know Angela didn't go because of the "producers' input". They want her drama to keep people hooked.

Oh well, I must find a new favorite. I really like Vincent. I think I tend to go for the underdogs.

p.s. I didn't like "So You Think You Can Dance?". I mean, there are so many different types of dance, how can you classify one type as better than the other? And really, who's to say someone can or can't dance? I don't know, I just never got past the first episode.

I also love SYTYCD. A lifelong dancer, I''m obsessed. Poor FI. Wednesday is often the only midweek day we see each other. He suffers through "your dancing show" as he calls it with sighs, groans and "Is it over yet?"

too funny! my thoughts EXACTLY! did you see them tonight? on fire! and poor demitri! so sad!


as for as PR- i LOVE it! i was having severe withdrawls from season 2 and am so happy it''s started again! whahoo!
oh and for the first episode of PR- that coffee filter dress was AMAZING!! why did they let that slip under the radar?! that guy was super creative and did a cute dress to boot!

i swear, wednesdays are my day for tv!

I am addicted to Project Runway now! I am so upset that I don''t get BRAVO at home.

I can''t figure out why! The TV just skips over that channel! My FSIL got me hooked. She watches the marathons and I''ve watched many episodes with her. I haven''t seen one whole season yet though.

I did get to watch this weeks episode on NBC. I missed last weeks because I didn''t know it was on!

Can someone explain to me how it works? When is it on BRAVO? Wednesday nights? And then it repeats on NBC the following Monday night?

I watched the first season of So You Think You Can Dance. I was hooked. However, I haven''t been watching this seasons cause I can''t stand the host.

She just bugs me so much!

I finally went Allie. I think she''s the best girl, though I adore the other two as well. Also Ivan. Great top 10 this year.

Okay, so here's what I heard (I'm not 100% sure it's true or if it's what causes the removal of one of the members, but it's scandalous nonetheless!)

Keith Michael turned in a sketchbook at the beginning of the season (with everyone else, at their auditions), right? Apparently, he copied at least 3 of his designs from other designers. Someone screencapped (from the TV, it looked like) his designs and put them next to actual runway photos, and they look like they've been traced!

okay we're watching SYTYCD and i get so confused sometimes! like i love love love a dance and so does greg and then the judges are all 'hate it' kind of thing or say it's painful to watch. you are like WHAT?!

i love heidi but i'm not sure if she has that fan base she might need...she seems kind of like she may appeal to only a certain audience almost? and maybe they aren't the voting audience if that make sense. i may vote tonite!

how funny that heidi and benji are cousins!!! deco, you got your hooks into taylor, leave my benji alone!

oh and i think one of the best guys as well is travis. he's pretty impressive and he's a cutie and always upbeat. natalie is great but i'm so tired of her 'i'm so hot' kind of routine...and ryan HAS to go home already....he should have gone last week, not dimitri. ryan is good but i just don't get wow'd by him at all. musa definitely should have gone after ryan. anyway all the dancers in the top 10 are definitely fab...we are just so impressed by how well they all dance! it's so much fun to watch.

I love that show! The disco routine - I didn''t think it was THAT bad. But apparently, I think everyone can dance, even when Nigel disagrees. Also, Mary Murphy totally bugs me. She''s like a more hyper and less drunk Paula.

As for Project Runway - OHHHH, I''d be so happy if that was who was leaving. I cannot stand him. Such an arrogant a$$. And Um, I wonder if Laura is ever going to make something that doesn''t have a fur collar? I''m just saying. And Allison? She''s just a big old bucket of Annoying. And Vincent. That many is one wave short of a shipwreck! I LOVE IT!

I hear ya! So far she seems like a one-trick pony. And she is like a real-life Bree Van deCamp (sp?), except that I have a hard time seeing her as a mother, much less a mother of FIVE! She seems very cold to me. I really like Alison, though, and I think she should have won the last challenge. Based on what the judges said, I was sure that she would win, but I think that is another example of the producers having a say. Also completely agree on Vincent, but he''s totally kinda lovable in a kooky way. I''m sure he will completely self-destruct before this is over.

Angela needs to go! I know why the producers are keeping her around, but I don''t need the drama, because she is not a good designer. I thought Katherine did a much better job in that challenge. Since when does simple=bad design? She had clearly made a concious choice for simplicity and I think it worked.

Ebree, thanks for the scoop! Though I have to say I would be sad to see Keith go, because what he has done so far shows him to be a very good designer, a$$ or not. But if he ripped off someone else''s designs, he should definitely be "out."

Which begs the question...If someone gets kicked off next episode for breaking the rules, will someone else still be out at the end of the episode? What do you think?

yep lyss, he and heidi last nite were tres fab...they both just have that something.

i voted last nite...tee hee, like 15-20 times for benji and also for heidi, but interestingly enough i had NO problems getting through to vote...definitely not talking AI here...hehee. i thought about voting for allison too but then i forgot her #.

honestly ivan DOES NOT impress me when he is dancing on his own. with a partner sure he can pull it together and partner well..but in his solos he''s just meh. doesn''t do it for me. at this point benji and travis are my final two for the boys and i''d love to see allison and heidi in the final two for ladies. donyelle is good but i don''t see her as fab as the judges do. and natalie has to go soon, i like her and all but i''m tired of her super vamp attitude and her contemporary routines all look the same.
