Well, I got up this morning and looked out the window. I am glad to report that, yes, we have weather here (NE Wisconsin).

Anyone not have weather where they are living?

Perry

Take my weather.....Please!!! It''s steamy and stinking, and the mosquitoes think I''m gourmet food.

The heat went away for the weekend, but its coming back!!!!! nooooooo.

my morning was started by looking at the haze hanging in the air looking down 5th.

dancing fire: thankfully it isnt in the 100''s here. (more like 80''s) tho it keeps my AC busy.

Its been in the upper 90s. Every couple weeks we get storms, it cools off slightly, then we go right back to 90s with gross humidity.

butbutbut...I love food? Let''s talk about it LOL j/k

Out electric bill was insane last month. We leave the ac on for the babies (my three fur babies that is)...so it''s never off. My husband and I are also polar bears so we like it FREEEEZZZING!!!

Last week was ridiculous... temps right around 100 and heat index 115-120. Should be in the upper 90s today....

it hasn''t been that hot for us in our area of CA in san jose, it was about 95 for a week or so about 3 weeks ago but since then it''s been about 90 or so during the day, last week was more like 85 thank goodness! we tend to use A/C in the afternoon though so i''m also dreading my power bill!

We''re also in So. Cal. about 30 miles East of Downtown LA, and it''s HOT!! We''ve become hermits in our own home to escape the heat!!! I''d say it''s about 95 to 100 degrees and it''s already 80 by 9:00 am!!! ACK!!

NJC: I think we are in the same area DC/MD/VA. It''s a typical DC summer - triple H''s (hazy, hot, humid)!!

It is really hot and humid, with those afternoon showers, including lightning........

i don''t mind 100'' as long as it''s dry but,i don''t see how you guys handle the humidity.

It''s been awful. The heat and humidity have just been unbearable. Thank god for air conditioning. The thuderstorms have been bad as well. Yuck!!!!

HI:

I live in Alberta, and has been between 25 and 30 degrees (C) all week and I''m loving it!! No humidity to speak of. Yahoo!! Hope August is more of the same!!

cheers--Sharon

Onedrop - You are exactly right! Ive never lived outside of VA so i dont know what it means to have pleasent summer weather!

We''re about 60 miles southeast of downtown LA, in south OC, and it''s been about the same....95-100 degrees. Weekdays we turn on the AC when we all get home (husband, kids and I around 5PM) and turn it off when we go to sleep by about 9pm all we need to do is crack open all the windows and turn on the ceiling fans. Weekends we have the AC on all day long, except when we''re out at the Mall or at the pool.

You''re lucky you can leave the A/C off during the day!! We''re home all day, so that''s not an option + 2 cats that need to have the A/C on so they don''t swelter...when we do leave, though, I''ll turn the thermostat up to 80 degrees...the cats don''t need to be living in a 73 degree house! LOL I can''t wait to see what my electric bill will look like this coming month...it doubled from June to July!!!! ACK!!!!

i was told,it isn''t too smart to turn off the A/C during the day b/c, your furniture absorb heat and it would take longer to cool down the house when you turn back on the A/C.

73 degree house?

do you have penguins living in your house?.

Heat and humidity and Houston = gross summer.

But after living here my entire life, it''s, well, just summer.

My electric bill was $860.00 last month. Big house with 3 separate units. And the pool cutting on amd off doesn''t help either.

How my elect. does this laptop use!?
