Old Stone, New Pics! Barry Supernova Imperial Malaya Garnet.

This beauty used to belong to another PSer, but I was lucky enough to buy it off of her! And I LOVE it!
It's 2.54ct, 9x7mm supernova malaya garnet that is a beautiful salmon-pink/coral/champagne color.

Last ones,
I took some photos of the new garnet with some of my old garnets! Another imperial malaya in a ring, 2 other loose round malayas, and one mint garnet.

Such a beautiful color! But what I love most is the almost metallic glint that your camera picks up from it. I love that sooo much. Congrats on your stone. I think it looks really beautiful with all the different stones but I particularly like it with green.

It's beautiful. I actually have a cousin of your stone. A 1.97 supernova oval from back when he had a few of those. I love mine but have no idea what to do with it. have you gotten it under fluorescent light yet? They turn apricot. Well mine does so I'm sure yours will too.

Mmm, looks like cotton candy! I'd probably keep it in white gold. I think rose and yellow would both overwhelm the delicate color of the stone.

Oh my gosh, the cut on that makes me nuts with admiration. Color is WOW. This is no help but I think it would look great in either white or yellow gold -- white would be nice & crisp, yellow would make for a rich look.

Your other stones are knockouts! Such a great rainbow, and the mint garnet, ooohh.
