For all the antique cut lovers struggling to find the "right" lab cut antiques... looks like a lot of vendors are getting on board!
Will be interesting to see the pricing!

I just saw that! It sounds interesting.

I was shocked to see this. I’ve noticed their dwindling natural inventory. I guess the demand is in lab. I’ve been tossing around the idea of upgrading my natural old mine cut but seeing this makes me question that decision even more.

I saw this on IG last night and it is exciting! But I'm trying not to get too ahead of myself until I see pricing.

I think I’m curious about the trademark more than anything. The decision to - /what makes it different enough to?

I noticed the smaller inventory too. I love both lab and natural diamond old cuts. It would be nice to see cape color, old cut lab diamonds.

What would you like to upgrade to? Any preference in color?

They have absolutely nothing compared to what they used to have. I very much prefer warm and fancy color over white. My current OMC is a 3.60 ct UV. It has my ideal faceting pattern and I adore it but DSS set in soooo fast. I want 5+ for my next upgrade but it must be super warm. I’d love to find a YZ or a fancy brownish yellow.

I prefer the warm colored OMCs and OECs as well. Your OMC diamond is divine. I recently purchased an OMC described as U/V color and was so disappointed that it appears white. Whiter than my N colored OEC.

So excited for your next upgrade. :)

I love the branding.
Candle cut is very fitting for old cuts.
Designed to bling out in the lighting of the day.
They also work well in the getting flatter modern lighting.

I saw this yesterday as well, and wonder how “perfect” the cuts will be. I really do love me some wonk in old cuts.

Arhg! I mean, I guess the last week of March is still in March, but I'm dying over here waiting! I keep checking their website but nothing but the teaser video.

Agreed. Most of the new cut iterations are too symmetrical and don't give me hand cut vibes. I'm hoping OWD has a different take on the new cut antique style diamonds.
Also, I would love to see an antique vendor actually provide a candle-lit video. Almost all of them talk about the whys of the cut, but I have yet to see anyones video

I hope they have some loose Candle Cut stones eventually.

I wish these were a bit warmer!
