OMC navette ring 18k YG

Beautiful old cut diamond navette ring measuring 14.6x6.6 mm, weighing 2.5g with a shank of 1.6mm at its thinnest point. Size 5.75.

I recently bought this ring from athenaworth's Etsy shop 'Gilded Lane,' and am only letting it go because I have just made an unanticipated bling purchase and am motivated to sell some of my smaller items to offset the cost.

The ring is marked 'JWB' on the inside of the shank, which a quick internet reveals is the signature of James William Benson, a gold and silversmith from the UK dating back to 1870; the cut of the diamonds is consistent with the age of the ring. The shank is stamped 18k, and has beautiful engraving on the outside that can be seen in the photos.

Low set, comfortable ring that elongates and flatters the finger; the perfect size for everyday wear.

Hi telephone! I'm certainly no expert, but I imagine it should resize fairly easily within a size or two as the navette is relatively narrow and there is no melee on the shank. And I agree with you, it is a lovely ring!

I still have my Tiffany&Co pendant for sale and will be adding a few smaller items (a non branded rolling ring, a Van craeynest band, a vintage French charm) in the days to come. Just have to find the time to take some decent photos of these things!
