Hello everyone!

So.....I got so much help from everyone the last time I posted and thank you so much. I went ahead and asked very nicely if I could get another round of ASET images for different diamonds. JA was kind enough to oblige, so I'm down to my top 3. One is the top from the last thread http://goo.gl/uYKnxL. The other two are my most recent requests. My budget is about $3600...I'm gonna bite the bullet on one of these based on your recommendations; so again, I really appreciate the feedback!

Diamond 1
JA link: http://goo.gl/3cBLxW - Top choice from last thread
1.01 Carat I-VS2 Cushion Cut

Diamond 2
JA link: http://goo.gl/SS4IkI - Based on what I've read, red is good and this one has a lot of it?
1.01 Carat I-VS2 Cushion Cut

Diamond 3
JA link: http://goo.gl/KICgeR - This one was recommended by msop04 in the last thread (thank you!)
0.90 Carat H-VS1 Cushion Cut

Thanks so much...I really couldn't have gotten this far with any sort of confidence without your help. I'll be sure to update later on with how things turn out! :twirl:

Diamond 1 I do not like at all, so I'd eliminate that one.

Diamond 2 looks nice and it is the largest of the three, so that is a big plus in it's favor. I don't know what kind of setting you are considering, so I am not sure about the squarish shape for all settings.

Diamond 3 has the shape I prefer most of all (and smaller table is more attractive to me), but it is smaller in diameter than #2. So again the setting would make a difference as to which I'd choose between 2 and 3.

Which one did JA like?

Hi Panda,

Just to reiterate the wise words of the two lovely ladies, with DS it's number 2 for me and also it would be useful to know as Jules mentions, which did JA's gemologist think was best? Also what type of setting are you considering? That could make a difference as to which to pick.

I agree with the ladies...love the small table and shape on #3 but would probably have to go with the bigger size and
more red aset of #2.

I get the ASET has more red in two but I prefer three. I like the shape and small table.

Hello everyone! Well to be fair the gemologist did not look at these three together. The second batch of diamonds did not include diamond 1, but it seems like it's a debate between Diamond 2 and 3, so i guess it's moot.

Between 2 and 3, the JA gemologist told the representative that they both perform well and that they both have an excellent amount of brilliance, fire, and sparkle. This is where I'm a bit confused and I'm going to have to call and clarify on Monday. The rep (he's a really nice guy) said that the gemologist said that his personal favorite is Diamond 3 because "because it is a higher "I" color, closer to an "H"." That is actually a description of Diamond 2...so yeah, I'm confused. Thought I'd run it by the experts here at Pricescope before calling for clarification. There is a $400 difference between Diamond 2 and 3 (3 is more expensive), so I am wondering if it's worth the money at this point? For example, why is a smaller table a sticking point for some of you?

These are the settings I'm considering:

Just to make sure everyone sees this: Thanks so much guys/gals/sirs/mad'ams. I'm really lucky to live in an age when complete strangers to the diamond community get insight into things like this. Your help has been invaluable! :appl: :appl: :appl:

Edit: added links to settings

#2 has a lot of red in the ASET. It should look bright. It also has the characteristic look of low crown height.
