I am trying to save money on invitations so am thinking of buying them online. Can anyone tell me their experience with weddingpaperdivas.com or mygatsby.com? Or do you have any other ideas of where to get cheap invites? I''m also wondering how to get them addressed. Do I have to send them out to another company to do computer calligraphy? Can kinko''s or somewhere do it? I want it to be very budget-friendly. Thanks so much!!!!

I think you can probably do it yourself. Just find not too thick invitations and play around on your computer. The reason I say not too thick is that if the paper is really think it can jam in your printer.

I would imagine that kinkos or another printer place can do it. I would look online or call around. If you do plain card stock and just black printing it can probably be cost effective.

I wouldn''t do email evites even though you are trying to save money.

Believe it or not, you can get some really elegant looking wedding invitation kits from Staples, and do them yourself on the computer. It comes with the software for different fonts, and instructions as well as practice sheets.

I got our save-the-dates and escort cards from weddingpaperdivas, and was very satisfied with the quality!

My invites and response cards are from WeddingPaperDivas and I am VERY pleased with them! Super affordable and exactly what I expected.

Places like Target and Michaels also have cute invitations that you print yourself. If you want them professionally printed, you can just take them to Kinkos or Staples and they''ll do it.

I LOVE Target''s Club Wedd invite kits! Everytime I go in there I look at them. If I didn''t have a graphic designer at my disposal for free I totally would be thinking about buying one of those kits for my own invites.

As for the addressing- provided you can stick an envelope into the back of your printer you can probably just do that yourself.

ditto on the target invites!!!! they keep coming out with more and more designs that they keep getting cutter too!!

The best prices I found were at Exclusively Weddings. They will even send you up to 3 samples free of charge. They seemed to be very good quality, but in the end none of the designs were quite right for my wedding. I ended up going with Wedding Paper Divas and I was very satisfied. I had my proofs emailed the next day and received them 4 business days later. Good quality, great customer service.

Walmart had some really cute Martha Stewart invite kits, and Michaels had a whole isle of awesome Martha Stewart stuff (NOT in the wedding isle).

I printed the envelopes at home on my ink jet and they turned out great. Make sure you have extra envelopes though!
