150 years ago 70% of US people were employed in agriculture; today it is just 2%.
Most countries manufacturing employment has halved in 30 years (and those were the worst most dangerous and unhealthy jobs).
Yet most Western nations have the lowest unemployment for decades.
Maybe travel agents will become jewelers?
But then jewelers that survive will either be great brand builders, or they will work out how to harness the www.
