Here is a picture of the pretty Grossular Garnet I bought from a wonderful vendor that some of you may know...
I loved the pale cool color of the stone, like seawater sometimes looks in the Pacific Northwest where I am from...

Being one of my first Colored Stone purchases I was eager to have it set and wear it !
I lurked here for awhile, and finally contacted JKT.
I had just imagined a plain silvery bezel setting for a pendant (I am not big on imagination)

What she envisioned stole my heart...

A bit closer ~ the stone is reflecting back the red of my cell phone case ...

I love it! I had been eyeing that stone for a while too, so I'm glad it went to a PSer. JKT always does a fantastic job. Is that green gold in the inner bezel and on the sides?

ETA: The stone really reminds me of my prasiolite that JKT also set in silver and green gold. I love that delicate green color.

Yes, the bezel and sides are green gold.
It turned out really nicely with the color of the stone I thought.
Just subtle enough to *add* to the garnet without distracting !

I honestly wouldn't have thought of green-gold, or anything as decorative as what she
imagined for this piece....

Oh Aoife, so sweet !!!
I know most here prefer intensely colored stones, but I really was
drawn to the color of this one.
My whole family was marveling at the sparkle when it arrived,
we had never seen such a thing !!
I guess Grossular is like that!
