Can the pros weigh in on any concerns? Will reach out and ask for more photos if it's looking good.
Went to stores with my friend and he vastly prefers deep tones.

Thanks all!

I feel like I can't tell much from the photo. It *looks* to me like it has some very dark areas, but it's hard for me to get a read on it. It also looks like it might have a window, though the cutting is described as very good.

I like one of the smaller ones on that site much better, the 1.81 carat one. But that could be all from the photography.

Granted, I'm not a professional in any sense, and shopping in that price range is but a dream. LOL.

In the listing it says no treatment, but in the list of specs it says heat. I'd first contact them to clarify.

Good catch! I'm old and didn't even see that....lol... yes that would warrant a contact for sure.

Thanks for the feedback!

At this price point, would like to go for an untreated stone.

The link that I had was because the cert 'read' well to me, but I'm very new at interpreting sapphire certs.

He initially thought 2cts but when we saw stones in stores, 3+ carats was the size he wanted (yes, taking into account shape/depth etc).

Its very expensive, so was wondering if anyone had any detractions from the stone - in this case probably based on the cert? Since there are no other photos at present.

I think the one Arcadian posted may be untreated and they just made a mistake in the listing (in the title they call it unheated and it's in the unheated category).

I would opt for a new lab report. The current one is from 1998.

Its really hard to judge colour when the background is blue as well.

I think size wise for 9k/ct, I would be looking at least 5ct+ stone (just to be clear: assuming same quality, bigger stone would command higher price per ct) and still would be getting a good color and cut sapphire.
