Opinions on these 2 Diamonds please!

Hi there,

I would like new diamond earrings from Whiteflash. Which of the following 2 pairs of diamonds should I take:

Since the diamond on my engagement ring is also in color D, I would also like to have color D on my earrings, that's a little dream of mine.

For the first pair with the total carat number of 0.616, the monitor looks as if the 2nd diamond is slightly brighter.

With the second pair, the 1st diamond has an HCA score of 1.0, but with size only average. So I'm not sure which of the two pairs to take. The dates are quite similar.

I agree with Mwilliamanderson. I prefer the pair that's on the right. I think they match better in color and optics. The pair on the left are slightly visually different. On the ears it won't be noticeable, but I would think about it all the time.

Is there a reason you are choosing such high color and clarity? If that is just because of personal choice, I would probably take the second pair which is probably the pair on the right on a computer screen and not a phone.

I am very sensitive to color when it comes to diamonds, so I can only go up to color F.

And since the price difference between D and F is not that great for me, I would choose the color D. D colored diamonds have such an icy white, which I find very beautiful. F colored diamonds are also very beautiful, but there it is not that intense.

I understand what you may by the difference between D and F because I'm also very color sensitive. Yes, the type who has a D color engagement ring.

Edited to confirm that between the two pairs of D, the pair on the right is preferred.

That said though, given the size of a 0.3 ct diamond vs the size of a engagement ring stone, it is far less likely that you'll see the body color on a 0.3ct. There is pair in E with the same face up size as those you are considering at $200 less though. Added it to your link in case you want to consider it:

I then decided on the right pair of diamonds and am very happy with the earrings. The diamonds are beautiful and the diamonds sparkle icy white.
