Opinions on these earrings (again :) ) please ?

Hi :)

As I mentioned in some of my previous posts, I just moved to the UK and am still in the search for my dainty little pair of dangling earrings .... BUT I have browsed so many UK jewelers and some aren't really what I was looking for, but most of all most were just so expensive !!!!

So I went back to Blue Nile (which is on sale, yay! :) ) , and saw these :


They might actually just fit my bill :) !!!!
But a couple of things :
- aren't they *really* expensive or an I just not informed enough :) ?
- are they good quality / worth the price ?
- they are at the very higher end of my budget (which is why I didn't see them before haha) so I really need to be sure because I won't be buying some each month :)

Overall I really like them, they are both discreet and with a presence, I find the pear-like shape (which I don't own) really feminine ... :) and they would go with just about everything :)

I am a big fan of Blue Nile and a long time buyer from them. I live in Europe too and it's more convenient to buy from Blue Nile, because you don't have to pay taxes/duties. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of all their products and I especially find the quality of their diamond jewelry exquisite.
The earrings that you are considering are very beautiful and elegant and I'm sure that they are of great quality too. Nevertheless, I am familiar with the image size/real life size ratio of the Blue Nile pieces of jewelry and I'm afraid that these might look very small to you in real life, especially for the price. You are paying in British pounds. The price - even after the discount - seems high to me, for what these earrings seem to be.
I wish you good luck in your pursuit of the perfect earrings and if you finally buy those please come back and show us!!!!

Yes I figured things would be smaller from all the different reviews I read !
I don't really have an issue with them being smaller (I tried "zoom out" to have an idea) as I like dainty... but the price is high !!!!

I am happy to hear that the quality is good :). But the price does make it hard to go for it ! I thought blue nile was "fair price" though ?
 
My mum actually likes them which is a big accomplissement :) (she didn’t love the previous ones I looked at :) especially the Monika Vinader, which I chose against if anyone remembers haha - way too expensive for what you got )

My big hésitation with thèse is the price !!!!
 
So I found these :), almost diamond-like haha, I have a good feeling about them this time, age and budget appropriate I think :), there is no point forcing the perfect diamond pair I think !! It will come by if it is written in the stars :)

I'm sure that it's just the photo that makes the color of the rose gold appear darker. These are lovely earrings! I really like them!!!

Honestly, I think I've been obsessing over my perfect pair of diamond dangling earrings as a distraction to getting used to the UK :), I don't (yet, I hope) have right now the budget for a good quality/price pair, so I'm really happy about this rose gold pair I found :), as I have bit of rose gold regulars, I even have a private online viewing scheduled with Pravins tomorrow haha :).

It feels right now :)
 
What about looking for pre-loved diamond earrings? Sometimes you can find a good value/discount on ones that are like-new.
