Hi all! So - I already have a wedding gown that I adore. I went for a much more poofy dress than I ever thought I would go with - and I don''t regret my decision one bit. The dress actually arrived the other day and I STILL have no regrets....

BUT.....

I''m having a "large southern" wedding. LOTS of dancing and "getting down"....lol. I started to think that once pictures are finished that I will want a dress that I can move in, so I''m considering an "after pictures, dancing, reception dress" to change into. PLUS - Our recpetion hall is down our small town''s "Main Street" and lots of people go out after weddings with the whole wedding reception crowd...i know it sounds weird, but it''s really quite fun!

So, what do you guys think of this dress? I want something that''s easy to move in, but still says "out of this crowd, I''M the bride!" ha!

I can''t post the picture, but here is the link. Please give me opinions as I''m quite one sided on many things and need other people to jar me out of my own reality

I love it!

gorgeous!

I love ALL of the Siri dresses... just wish they looked a little bit better on my body type. I think you''ll have a blast in that dress!

I love dresses with that neckline and have worn quite a few... so I love it. Just be careful though, sometimes those sleeves can restrict arm movement so that you can''t get your elbows higher than chest height. So if your looking for get down and boogie dress, this might hamper you a bit, depending on how you dance.

Cleo, honestly, it''s a pretty dress but it looks to me more like a BM or MOB dress. If you want to look bridal during the reception, I''d go with something more bridal. There''s another recent thread about someone wearing a BM dress but it seems more like a short bridal gown...check it out!

True Gypsy - I surely didn''t think about the sleeves being restrictive...but sometimes it''s fashion over form, right? I just think it''s such a classy dress...as all Siri''s are...

I may just have to try it on and boogy down in it at the boutique! Wouldn''t THAT run over well with the saleslady! Oh - the sacrafices women make

The dress is stunning, but I agree with Surfgirl--it doesn''t look like a get down and party dress to me, nor does it look lke a "hey I''m the bride!" dress, either.

I say get down and boogy at the boutique! Perhaps this dress will be very dance-able! When I found my dress I skipped around the entire store and then did a couple laps around the couch my mom and friends were sitting on. I was just too damn excited to stand still and stare into a mirror. The other brides did give me looks, but puhlease--I was clearly having MUCH more fun than any of them!

Ok so - I went to the bridal shop today and saw that Siri dress in person....you guys were right....It looked too hot, and too constricting. BUT i found the PERFECT alternative! It''s a Bari Jay bridesmaid dress, but looks oh-so-fun! It''s made of a crinkled tafetta and comes in white! My camera battery died as the girl who was helping tried to take a picture! So, sorry gals - no pics of me in it....but it looks fabulous!

The pic is attached....It''s a dark silver...but I ordered the White. I just love it! It looks fun and youthful!

That is an AWESOME dress! I''m also looking at BM dresses for me for the RD and stuff...can''t wait to check them all out. Great find!
