Hello,

I’m a complete newbie when it comes to diamonds, I want to buy a radiant cut diamond for my soon to be fiancé. I have been doing some research and it looks like a good combination for a radiant cut is,

Depth: 64%-68%

Table: 66%-69%

Ratio: 1.2-1.3ish (the ratio of the diamond I like is little over 1.32, is that okay still?)

Symmetry is excellent.

Long mains facet.

Does that sound good? Is there anything else I need to be aware of? I found this diamond that I liked (little over my budget but I can still work with it), what are your guys thoughts on it? It’s around $18k, also is color grade D an overkill since I’ll be going with yellow gold for the setting?

I know there are many questions like this posted daily, I’m sorry to add to the clutter.

Thanks in advance!

Well, I personally like it! Much nicer than most of the "crushed ice" radiants that have so much leakage.
It does look to have a decent crown. A lot of them can have really large tables and no crown height. As
far as radiants go, and I'm no expert on radiants, I like this one!

Edit...can you get an ASET image from the vendor?

Thank you for the reply! It’s much appreciated! And it’s from Bluenile , I don’t think the provide ASET, but I’m going to ask them anyways.

I think you're correct about Bluenile not providing ASETS but couldn't hurt to ask!

Well, lots of green (yeah) and some red (yeah)...some leakage (typical).

Do you have the stone on hold so you can post the link? I'd like to rock it back and forth.
