Interested in selling one of my favorite stones. I've had this stone since 1993. Pictures do not do it justice.

Copy of AGI brief to anyone interested. I live in Tacoma, WA area but frequently travel to Dallas and Los Angeles for work (aerospace). Happy to meet up or willing to send you the stone for inspection upon receipt of a deposit. I have a perfect Ebay feedback rating and if it helps, we can transact there to make it safe.

Thanks

I checked the listing to see that it is a sapphire. It looks nice@

My advice is that you need more pictures, though. I could never buy a stone with one photo that is not a head-on shot.

I couldnt tell what it was either...

I would also be careful referring to it as an orange/pink stone as that connotes a padparadscha, which this stone is not. According to the AGL report, it is an orange sapphire - with no mention of pink in the report.

I hear what you're saying about the description; however, in person inside my house and elsewhere, it does have pink hues. So to represent it as only orange, I feel is misleading. After much discussion AGI was willing to edit the description, but at the time I wasn't interested in selling it so I never pursued it. Regardless, I wouldn't expect anyone to buy this stone until they were able to inspect it.

I was willed a large inventory of stones and at some point, I need to start selling them as my kids don't need such a volume of stones. I suspect most people don't believe me when I describe the quantity of stones I have. In order to build a reputation as a credible seller, I'm going to have to sell some of the stones, likely at ridiculously low prices. So...keep an eye on this one. Someone is going to get pretty, almost 5 ct sapphire for a steal.
