I know I have had a lot of topics lately, but my fiance and I think we have the invites all done! We had them custom made by the person who did out save the dates. They are not completely finalized so if anyone has any ideas or comments, just let me know. Thanks!

Cute invite, but I''d ask admin to remove the pic and post one with last names blurred! I''m on the paranoid side about things like that though.

very cute!
Just as an FYI impress has VERY cute owl rubber stamps, similar in style if you wanted to carry on the theme for the envelops or even for TY cards :)

That pic isn't of your actual invite, is it?

It's dated for October 2009.

Also, personally, I don't like the format of the time. I'd either go all the way with "5:00 p.m." or "Five o'clock in the evening"

I also think the day and time should be spaced out from the "exchange our vows" line.

ETA: Alternatively, you could also use "Five in the evening".

I also feel that there is too much blank space at the bottom of the invite (below the reception line).

But I think they're very cute

This isn''t our actual invite lol, those are fake names that she just uses for samples. Oh and thanks lilyfoot for the time suggestion I wouldn''t have noticed.

I notice that your names are written in Scriptina and in several places (like "St") there is a large gap. This happens when you type with Scriptina and don''t make edits to character spacing, like on Microsoft Word. You have to go in and select the letters and reduce character spaces so there isn''t this big gap. Many letter combinations don''t need adjusting and they look just fine, but some print strange.

The reason I know all this is because we are using Scriptina as our font on many things and we''ve had this problem. Our invite designer has a program that auto removes the issue with certain character combos but if your person doesn''t have this, they would need to manually make adjustments.

Hopefully this isnt too confusing!

Haha duh I should have noticed that! That''s what I get for sneaking in here quick and posting when I should be working.

I do love the invite, cute color combo!

Big ditto to everything you said here. I think they look great, otherwise! I went with a "tree" theme in my wedding!
