So, our wedding was July 7th, and I must say it was wonderful beyond my expectations. Nearly everything went perfectly thanks to the wonderful people surrounding us that day (and few people noticed the things that didn't go smoothly--including me). I loved the entire day: the pre-wedding brunch my godmother threw (My then FI and I went at different times so we wouldn't see each other), hair and make up with my 4 bridesmaids and our fabulous stylists, pre-wedding photos, the ceremony, photos after the ceremony, the ride to the reception, the reception itself, our guests, dinner, dancing, our cakes, the ride to our hotel, everything! My new HUSBAND and I feel SOOOO Lucky. I felt like it was a fairy tale. I was a little nervous mostly because it rained ALL morning and afternoon (good thing I decided to go with an updo!), and the only way to get from the Bride's room to the front of the church without anyone seeing was by walking outside. We had many umbrellas and tarps prepared just in case. Luckily, the rain magically stopped 20 min before the ceremony and stayed away until right after we were safely under the awning at the entrance of the reception hall. I could not have asked for anything more.
