Over the moon today!

I know I should probably post this in the Home and Health forum but I just feel like sharing my excitement with all you ladies since I “talk” to you more often!

Finally, after 1.5 years in our house, my SO bought and installed the new lighting fixture I wanted for the kitchen! He also installed dimmer switches in the kitchen and dining room (I have always wanted dimmers so I can illuminate the rooms with soft light), a fancy new switch for our porch light as well as brand new face plates for all the kitchen outlets that match our appliances!

I’m so thrilled! We have brushed stainless appliances and the new light is so much brighter so the appliances really pop now

Here’s a picture of the light…it’s difficult to see the details but the track resembles a branch and the lights coming off the track look like small flowers. Since we have exposed beams in our kitchen this light matches perfectly!

Yay for new lighting fixtures!!! Looks good! I''m a total home furnishings dork, I can''t wait to rack up a huge Home Depot bill when we actually buy something.

That is so pretty!! I totally love it! It''s sad how much needs to be done on my house (paint, etc) but I''ve just been too lazy to do it. I think I''m so overwhelmed by how much needs work that I can''t even focus on doing the small things.
