Hey Allison -

Me again!

I was just wondering what size stones you are considering for your WF 5 stone trellis?

Hi, Bem!

I''m going with 39-pointers. A friend of mine got the u-prong ring in 31s, and I liked it but wanted just a bit more presence.

Mine will be a RHR, which is a size 7......but the ring I posted pictures of for you previously was on my left hand (size 6). I tried that ring on in Boston and was smitten with it; that had 40s.

THANKS!

Hi Lynn -

Allison posted the photo of the 40 pointers 5 stone in this thread of mine:

https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/can-anyone-post-pictures-of-1-5-2-5-tcw-5-stone-bands-in-a-size-6-please.84844/

(I still don''t know how to post links properly - sorry!)

Allison - I''ve chosen to go with 40 pointers (that photo from Boston that you posted helped a lot - thanks!), so it looks like we''ll truly be ring-twins! I finally confirmed my stone choice today!...

Loving the trellis setting, 5 stone for a RHR will be awesome, so can't wait for the pics. I missed your other thread Allison. And Miss Bem, can't wait to see yours!! I love the profile of the trellis, and believe it was Lazare Kaplan that first came out with it, way back when??

I had a couple who came in and only wanted that setting, but in a 3 stone. Had to special order the setting and the loose stones. They were married with wedding bands only so this was her first ering after waiting 10 years. I still remember them, and that setting!!!

Hey Kaleigh!...

I will be sure to keep everyone posted! This is for a RHR in lieu of a wedding band for me. I decided that I didn''t want to wear a band next to my Leon after all - so this is the compromise. I can''t wait to see it!

AllisonD, What is this I hear about a 5 stone trellis?

39 pointers are going to look AMAZING! Have you picked out the stones yet? I can''t wait to see the end product!

Hee hee....yes, I have picked out stones, and they are waiting for the CAD to finish.

Kt has a 5-stone k/courselle style ring, and it''s lovely. However, it''s a bit more straight-lines looking, and my fingers are so short, I can''t carry off that look. I needed a design that would let the prongs move in a bit to create a scallop-y view when looking directly at the ring, but I still wanted to see as much profile as possible from the side view like the K/Courselle version.

My end result is hopefully going to look much like Demelza''s five-stone.

Hey Allison!...

Sorry I missed this. I did try to post a photo of my stones a while back, but something was up with the site and it didn''t work. I''ll try again... nope, still not working. I''ll try to troubleshoot a bit -

OK, it seemed to work this time...
