Hiya Ginger (or anyone else who remembers)...

I just did a search and read that you and I are dress twins!! That is so exciting! However your pictures don''t show up anymore, and I was wondering what kind of veil you had?

Thanks!

I saw your thread and was super excited to see your dress! May I say you have fabulous taste?

I wore a cathedral length single tier no edging veil. I wanted just a sheer illusion as to not mess with the back of the dress which is fantabulous and my favorite part of the dress. I have pics, but not on this comp. I''ll post em if you like. You can see my dress and veil on my videographer''s website, he has clips of us up.

We''re under standard definition platinum post ceremony, first dance, cake cutting, exit, and 8mm.

If you look under high def, you''ll see another familiar bride

Thanks for replying Ginger! Those videos are exquisite! I remember you having pictures posted, but I don''t think they work anymore for some reason, so if you wanted to post a few more, I''d really appreciate it (as would others I''m sure :-)

As for the dress itself, did you have anything sewn in (i.e. cups)? Sorry if that is too personal...ignore if it is!

The lady where I bought it suggested moving my straps a little farther down the back so as to maybe add a bit of support for me since I''m a bit top heavy (although the dress really minimizes it IMO).

As far as your videos go, it is kind of funny because after seeing pictures of you and JCrow''s weddings, watchign the video almost felt like watching a movie of famous people!!

You are both famous in the land of Pricescope! Ha!

Thanks for chiming in though! I appreciate it!

LOL...that made me giggle...you''re too sweet. Isn''t it funny how we all feel like we know each other? My husband is rolling his eyes at me right now. Whatever.

I did have cups sewn in. I am seriously lacking in the boobage department so I had the opposite problem. But I looooove the dress and it was sooooo comfortable to wear. You look seriously gorgeous in the dress with the perfect body for it. You''re lucky you don''t have to deal with faking having a female body.

How are you doing your bustle?

Oh, here is a non-professional pic. You get an idea of my veil, but here it wasn''t spread out right. When arranged correctly, it flowed over my shoulders and over the enire train. I''ll try to get my prof pictures re-uploaded at some point.

OMG. Incredible. That is exactly what I would like. I love how it just blurs the whole ''naked back'' thing enough for the ceremony but then for the party it will be great!!

Bustle...I''m not sure? Are there options? I just assumed it would look like the permanent bustle bits on the train that are already there. What did you do? Could you see the beading on the train when it was bustled?

Thanks again for posting the pics...you truly were a stunning bride!

i had multipoint french bustle that left a bit of drape at the bottom. Everyone told me it loked really prety when we were dancing. the only problem was people kept stepping on it and the bustle slowly "unbustled" as the ribbons holding it to gether snapped. The seamstress bustled it to try to showcase the beading on the train. I loved it, it was really pretty.

at the end of the night you can see how it "un-raveled"

Even "un-raveled" it looked incredible! I am totally swooning over your dress...then I realize that it''s my dress too!

She did a great job with the bustle...too bad it didn''t stay up but it certainly didn''t look like anything was wrong with it (if you didn''t know).

Beautiful!!

I can''t wait to get mine in to try it on again!!

I love your hair too...so elegant!

oh ginger! how i still love your wedding pics! and that dress. sigh. i''m so happy you didn''t end up with that lace one you liked. THIS one is exquisite!
i don''t know if it helps, Otober2008bride, but i had a reem dress too, and didn''t have cups sewn in. i have enough going on uptop that i had too much spilage with cups so i went without. it was totally comfy. my bustle looked similar to ginger''s, but mine didn''t have the train after it was bustled. and i didn''t have any problems with people stepping on it or it ripping.

Yeah I wasn''t sure about cups - i mean, usually I definitely wouldn''t need them, but because this is backless I was more concerned about them staying...uh....UP. you know?!

I think it is going to take some crafty alterations...and a bit of luck!
