Stepcutgirl - i am so glad the post about the legacy was helpful!! I was going to originally copy this ring for my ering, but went a completely different route... but i seriously think this ring is just so well executed in terms of style - big, huge,

for the color, cut, and bezel on that stone.

Did you find the other posts of it? there are a ton more pictures and where they had it made etc. I am going to try to link you to some other photos of it, but didn''t want to continue threadjacking whitby''s thread

Wow! Thank you Violet! That is so sweet of you! I found some of the pics but not all of those you posted! I''m thinking that where the two surprise diamonds are, I want sapphires, but all the rest of the underside support and halo diamonds. I think I somehow want the halo...softer. Does that make sense? Like maybe use the diamonds but not have the outer metal edge? And the wedding band I think I will alternate diamonds and sapphires. What do you think?

I''m not ready to buy yet, but I''m wondering how I will do it when I am. I would want all the sapphires to match color...so would I need to get a huge piece of rough and have it cut for the center cushion and all the rounds? That sounds much expensive.
