@diamondnewbieny I know that DK can source these for you if you can't find them on here. When I was visiting them last year, one of their vendors was there and he had a whole suitcase full of interesting little diamonds like what you're looking for.

I don’t have a set budget but trying to see if I can get it on preloaded for a better price than having it source.
On Loupe troop I see that a lot of the diamonds is located in India, I want someone local. I don’t know if it would incur tax and might have too much trouble.

I had this saved imagining earrings for myself - you could use the half moons as sides and then at a later date make Oprah style earrings - round diamond on top with pear drops - classic style - makes the price seem a bargain that way too when you can use them for two projects

I think DK can probably work in your budget. It’s just what parameters you want to work in. Also lab diamond suggestion is a good one. He did some awesome looking lab diamonds in a halo for @whitewave not that long ago.
I think if you are willing to wait around for awhile for something to pop up-you might get a second hand ‘deal’. But remember - most LT sales don’t have return period if you don’t like them, or don’t like the proportions to your centerstone.

To be honest, you might be happier just letting DK source your sides. You have a significant stone, sides will not make a major difference for a budget for the ring as a whole and that way DK can suggest you a couple of options so that you can choose what looks most pleasing for your eye

Yes I think that might be the best route. I had asked around how much and they wanted to charge a very high rate. Perhaps because it’s a big stone... they said 5k-7k, but I thought it ridiculous. But why would I pay that amount just for the setting alone...

5-7k sounds high to me. It might be worth to check what ctw size of side stones they had in mind. Just in case they planned with humongous sides and you actually have something more daily in mind
