Cannot go wrong either way. Really personal preference. Do you have other jewelry that is pave’ set? Some people find it tends to go more “vintage” delicate vibe where the shared prong is more bold/modern.
The shared prong appears to be a flatter band on the profile where it might stack “cleaner” with other rings but the pave’ will still be stackable. You might actually like the fact a stack won’t fit as flush.
Question: do you have the availability of funds where you could float on your credit card bill to order BOTH, make your decision, and immediately send the one you don’t choose back to get credited back on your card? If you can swing that then you will know for sure, and you don’t want to order one at the Black Friday price, decide you would rather have the other, then have to order the one you want but miss out on the pricing.

Thanks! I don't have any pave pieces. In pave settings, are the diamonds closer together than prong set?

I was thinking of purchasing both and returning one. I don't want to wish I gone with the other style. I do have my 5 stone ring that is prong set, but those stones are .33 each, so a lot larger than .10's

Just order both and you will be confident in your final choice. There are many different styles of pave’ so I think you should see ring in person along with the other.

I just didn't do myself any favors. I kept looking and now will be ordering FOUR rings to try!

Honestly, since you are able to swing it, this will ensure you get exactly what you want! Can’t wait to see what you pick! Have fun with it!
