Pear spess ring?

Someone has a beautiful pear spess ring in a double diamond halo, if my memory serves me correctly. Can someone post a pic? I think it is LDs ring? I am interested in the setting (although the whole ring is beautiful). Thank you.

Yup that is the only one that pops into my mind as well. I want to say it is a LOGR's setting

If you're talking about my ring, yes, it was an LOGR that I purchased a long time ago. Maybe he still has that style in stock if you ask him. I had to upgrade the diamonds because the first one he sent me were really cloudy, and unacceptable. I returned it for one with better diamonds.

TL, can you tell me the dimensions of your pear? Did you send your spess to LOGR to get a good fit? I am trying to figure out what to do with a pear sapphire that is coming to me from Tan.

This stone is 11 x 7 if I remember correctly.

I would never ever send a stone to China to set it, unless it were a stone I wouldn't worry about losing. My jeweler set it in there for me.

If you have a good jeweler, I would advise that you let them set it for you. I'm very lucky with my jeweler.

I also have a pear sapphire in an LOGR double halo, but it's not a twisted DNA shank, but it's a double halo.

Personally, I love this spess halo better.

BTW, found this comment I made in that thread on the measurements of the stone vs. the setting. I didn't have to make adjustments to the setting either.

I definitely will. I bought a pear blue sapphire from Tan. It looks like it might have a tiny window, but it's my first purchase from him, and I couldn't stomach buying anything more expensive for an overseas purchase. I am thinking of the LOGR halo, or going to Daniel M.
