Pendant Completed, Thank You to Wink Jones.

Hi Everyone...

Wink emailed me last earlier this week and Bei has completed the pendant with the floral motife for Regina''s pendant.

Wink was very much a gentlemen throughout the whole process and originally spoke with him at the beginning of this project in hopes he could get this pendant made. Bei who has since "retired" agreed to do this pendant for me in which I was gracious that Wink asked.

Regina likes white gold, so we decided to get the bale done in white gold and the flowers done in yellow gold to help provide a little contrast. I still couln''t figure out what kind of chain would look good, so I decided to either go with a black silk or leather cord for now. Instead of a chain I elected to have a black leather cord with white gold clasps. It will work good for now and in the future if Regina wants a chain, we can get a chain.

A picture of the pendant with the original Homer 5 1/2 carat rhodolite garnet is attached.Wink advised it hard getting a true good picture of garnet, but I think it came out fine..

It seems as I have gotten older my obsession from collecting baseball cards evolved into stamps which evolved into nice gems, and now I have a great excuse to buy them...For the woman I love..

monarch64-Thanks for the advice on the black cord. Maybe I''ll have him send both. The thing I liked about the leather cord is that the clasps were matching in white gold and the silk cord had ss clasps..

lizz-I will be glad to take neck shots, but this is a Christmas gift so it will have to wait. I can try it on and take photo''s if it can''t wait, but you''ll have to "bear" the hairy chest..(lol...)

Thanks for the compliments...Storm Bei''s work was not super expensive...It was definitely more than a more traditional pendant, but it definitely did not break the bank..

HLMR-I think the black cord will look fine. If she likes a chain we can get one later on...

Bei is in California these next few weeks, I believe that he is going to buy some property there to live on during the winters. As he told me, "I old now, don''t like Winter. Too Cold!"

LOL! Sometimes I wish I could go with him, but I do like Winter, it brings the snow for my water for next summer and kayaking. I have been very blessed to have Bei touch my life and share his abilities with me, it is always an honor to share them with you.
