Has anyone heard of this website?
Their prices sound too good to be true...

just realized...

"Important: All the dresses in "For brides" will be produced in about 20 days after we get your order . All the dresses are the copies of original ones ."

Has anybody used them?

I haven''t heard of them until your posting. I did go and glance at the website and think that yes it does seem too good to be true. I''ve heard many horror stories from Brides that tried going that route and it just turned out horrible. I think if you have something in mind for a dress and don''t want to spend the $ on a particular designer''s creation, than try finding a reputable seamstress who can but at a lesser price. I''ve seen seamstresses make fabulous gowns which are cheaper than what a designer label would charge, but nothing as dirt cheap than what''s being advertised on that website. It also helps to know the caliber of ones work if you see actual pictures of the outcome. In regards to that site, I would be very weary. Hope this helps!

They are one of a number of Chinese factories that do this. I know there is atleast one woman on here who used them. She said it was fine, but nothing more than you would expect for the price.

I plan to buy an inexpensive dress from a site like this for a Trash the Dress shoot and maybe for our first dance. If you want to buy your actual wedding dress I would order it way in advance so you can have a backup plan in case something goes wrong or the dress is not up to par. You probably get what you pay for so I would keep that in mind.

''Trash the Dress shoot''? What is that?

Lol. Google it or do a search here on PS. Its when you have photos taken in your dress and you''re in settings where your dress is trashed-- e.g. rolling on the sand at the beach.

I have used Periwing and they were wonderful I have no complaints only a few suggestions, order in advance because it took almost 2 months for my dress to arrive. I would say that as long as you give them your correct measurements you have nothing to worry about, my dress fit me like a glove and I did not have to make a single alteration. Don’t be alarmed when you get your dress it will probably come in a box smaller than you would ever think a dress could fit in, they actually roll them up and put them into a small box and it is your job to do the “detailing” as my mother and I called it. We had to use a steamer to get out all the wrinkles and it took a few tries, there were also a few stray threads to cut off but who can complain about that with the prices they have! These are things the big dress shops have to do with their dresses but most of us don’t know it, and then they charge us 3 times as much. I paid over 300 dollars for a prom dress at a fancy dress shop and found the exact same dress on this site for 109 dollars. Also another thing is if you are ordering a colored dress, say for a prom, or bridesmaid’s dresses, be aware that the colors show up differently on everyone’s computer and it may not be the exact shade you were hoping for. This happened to me, it was only a shade or two darker, but still the same color, this is a small risk you take when ordering anything online. One more comment, just because the dress looks extremely “puffy” in the picture does not mean it is going to come that way. If you are not a fan of poof you are in luck and if you are you can do what I did, bought a slip with puffiness built into it, although this was not necessary the dress was fine just the way it was but I like lots of poof so I went ahead and got one, they run about 50 dollars and up and Davids Bridal carries them. If you know in advance you are going to buy one of these slips you may want to add an inch or two to your hem when you give periwing your measurements. I plan on using this site in the future and would recommend it to anyone. Happy shopping ladies!
