Philly GTG! Oct 17 Gem show! REMINDER

Hey all you Philly folk,

Just a reminder that Jstar and I will be getting together at the Oct 17th gem show at UPenn campus to browse the goodies and get some Capigiro gelato in honor of her bday (and the fact that she gets a much deserved day off from her grueling trauma rotation). There''s a new Capigiro on 40th and Walnut, just 4 blocks from the gem show, and this one has a happy hour!

Aw, must be exciting! Although by now you''re probably looking forward to it being done already, I know that''s how I felt at least when I was just a few weeks away!

Hehe, you can always come to look at the pretties that are there, or grab some gelato!

We're actually changed our plans and are moving the following weekend, but we have tons of wallpaper to scrape. I've recruited some friends to help out on Saturday, so I still can't make it

ETA: I just realized today's Octavia's wedding day!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! It's a beautiful day here in Philly, too... sunny, high of 66 degrees!!

Aww, Lynnie, thank you for thinking of me!! It was a fantastic day, and we got incredibly lucky with the weather. I promise to post in BWW when I have a chance.

I''m still hoping to make the gem show, FI''s father is leaving earlier than he originally planned so there''s a possibility but I probably won''t know until late in the week.

I am tentatively in. At least for an hour or two. DH has been away for two weeks (and hasn''t seen our house for 3!) and this weekend is all we have before he heads back to work out of town. I managed to talk him in to getting lunch with a friend who lives in the city so I can go ogle some gems and possibly eat some gelato.
