Photographer recommendations in the DC Metro area

Hi everyone!

So, my FI and I will be eloping later this year. Since we are forgoing the traditional wedding, we thought it would be nice to enlist a photographer to take pictures of us around the monuments and memorials with our wedding outfits to share with family and friends. It wouldn''t be traditional wedding pictures per se. I am hopelessly lost, and would appreciate any recommendations.

I''ve contacted one person whose work I love, but I have an inkling that he may be too expensive for us.

Thanks for the fast response...I will look into these. Isn''t it amazing how expensive photography services are here?

We aren''t sure what our budget should be, seeing how we''re not really in need of someone to take pictures of us at a wedding. I guess the best thing to do is call everyone with what we have in mind and figuring it out from there. I feel like our whole wedding is going to be piecemeal. We''re getting married first in October. Either in October or sometime later we''d like to get some pictures taken. Then in the spring, after the elections, we''re going on our honeymoon.

This husband and wife team did my best friend''s wedding (I was MOH) and going through all 700+ photos- they were amazing! They did a great job and they''re really nice, professional, and I highly recommend them!
