Hi All,

I am starting a new thread to post pictures of my new art deco anniversary gift ring. Earlier I was a bit "skeptical" of how suitable this beauty is for me - because I felt the ring has a small presence on my chubby hand. Thanks to many of you who thought otherwise and convinced me to hang on to it! After getting used to it, I felt very comfortable with it and really came to love it, especially the lovely old European cut diamond which is very mesmerizing to look .
The spec: Center OEC diamond ~0.70-0.80 ct,I, VS; 18 french cut Sapphires around the diamond. Platinum, ring size 5.5.
BTW, DH got it for me from Dover Jewelry in FL: http://www.doverjewelry.com/ They are WONDERFUL people to work with and boy, do they have some amazing beauty to chose from!

Here is the profile of the ring so you can see the very ornate side view. I love how low it sits on the hand which makes it a perfect RHR.

I find the cut of the center OEC to be pretty amazing for diamonds of this age. Here is its IS shot. I really dig all these symmetrical arrows.

Do I hope the RHR to have more finger coverage? Maybe a little. However the beauty of this ring is so evident that for now, I love it just as it is!

I don''t know how to search for my own old posting. So here is the close up shot of my wedding set for those of you interested. The e-ring is VVS2; color H; 1.1ct, Side EC are ~0.5ct each, VS, H. The wedding channel set band contains baguette cut for a total of 2ct. The spacer band is a family ring.
