Pics of my new wedding ring!

We bought our wedding rings in NYC this past weekend - I love mine and can''t stop playing with it. I decided to take some pics last night, even though our wedding isn''t until October!

I got it from Cartier and it sits pretty flush with my engagement ring (which is the 1895 pave solitaire). I wanted a delicate pave band to match the engagement ring but not overpower it. It sits just about 1.5 mm lower than the engagement ring, but I think that''s fine. It''s so teeny and delicate, with pave diamonds around the entire band.

LOVE your set!!! I think the two look great together. I like how they engraved the name and PT on the outside of the shank. I suppose you might keep the engraved part on the opposite side where your ER hits to avoid having that rub away?

I can try for more closeups later today! You are correct, it does look channel set but the diamonds are held in place with 2 teeny prongs (pave set) on either side. The shank is so thin that it''s hard to tell beyond that - I''ll have to do an extreme close-up for you

Wow, that is a very beautiful setting. I am in the process of securing a 1.7ct round, F, VVS2. It has a spready table (63%). May I ask the size of the center stone? And, if appropriate, can you share how much it cost to get the mounitng and the band? I am almost wiped out buying the stone, I am just trying to see if I can get it set in something elegant like yours in a Platinum setting.
