I emailed this seller and they had the guts to try and tell me that this was the actual picture. Wish Ebay would do something about these people.

Book em Dano!

Good job Marriahlynn. I noticed that they have 0 feedbacks, not too likely that they will get any bids on their stolen pictures.

Are you sure her husband didn't purchase the ring through WF and then put it up for bid? I mean, if I were to have to put my ring up for auction, I would use the pictures from WF, not those taken by myself. There's nothing wrong with that that I know of....

I guess I just like to consider people innocent until proven guilty.

Ok we could assume she bought this from Whiteflash maybe and it just so happens that Whiteflash used HER ring to take the picture and use it for selling their 6-prong ring. The diamond is obviously one of Whiteflash's ACA's and I would have thought that this would have been listed. Also I am not sure but I believe strongly that Whiteflash's ACA diamonds are all AGS graded. After the seller responded saying it was the actual diamond and I inquired further, she did not respond.

Have you contacted anyone from WF (I know Denise, Leslie, and Brian all post here on PS)? I just know that they set up the pictures for their rings in the same fashion (I received pictures of my princess that are a replica of the placement/appearance of those posted on Ebay (except with my stone)). It would be AWFUL for the person selling the ring to be using false advertising, but, as I said before, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt

The fact that she didn't respond could be related to her enjoying the long weekend, or not feeling she needs to defend herself other than to say that it's her ring (although maybe not her stone....). Just a thought!

Oh, and I'm not sure she'd list that the ring is from WF, as she may be hoping to get more money from the sale (if she mentions WF she may worry that people will just go to their site, pay a little more, and get exactly what they want--without the fear of Ebay!).

I have to dissagree, for one thing it is a blatant copywrite violation. For another, there is no way that the stone shown is a J color unless the picture has been photoshoped to remove the color.

For my protection everyone on Ebay is GUILTY until proven innocent.

Ok let me clarify. I spent 3 years of my life as an Ebay seller and worked myself up to silver level powerseller (I believe $10,000/month) selling clothes. I had my chain yanked 2 times by Ebay.....I should say fair trade or whatever it was claiming my items were "fake" and I am absolutely positive everything I ever sold was genuine. I proved myself innocent
