Pictures! My mom''s wedding set.

So, I figured since I don''t have my own ring (YET!) to take pictures of, I would practice and take some of my mom''s lovely wedding set. Her original wedding set was stolen a few years ago (and it had a really nice family diamond, too. ) so her and my dad picked out a new one for their 25th wedding anniversary.

Here are lots of pictures! It''s a cushion cut with pear sides. The center stone is E color and VS1. The setting is platinum and is from Blue Nile (as is the cushion diamond)

That is beautiful, do you have specs? size of the cushion and pears for those that are looking for proportions?

I knew I was forgetting something. The pears are a TCW of .25 and the cushion is .90. The wedding band is a TCW of .25, and it''s 18k white gold.

The band actually came from Helzberg! My mom looked for ever and ever to find a band that she liked with the e-ring, and it ended up that a simple 400 dollar band from Helzberg looked the best. The diamonds in the w-band are actually pretty nice quality, I was surprised.

I LOVE that....but I do have a weak spot for fancy shape 3 stone rings.

I have been secretly wondering what kind of wedding band would go with my e-ring (when he finally gives it to me that is) and I think somthing similar would look nice.
