Pink diamond necklace

Hi everyone!

Long time no speak!

Just thought I would get your opinion on my new necklace design!

Trying to use my old engagement ring diamond to create something I’ll wear every day so would love some design and CAD feedback!

So we have a 0.41point centre stone with a halo of argyle pinks, set in rose gold. Then a 0.20 point stone set in 3 claws next to it! The necklace is platinum, other than the rose gold for the halo!

Very unique idea! I am all about symmetry but can appreciate something that is different. In my symmetrical mind, however, I wonder about haloing the smaller stone to make them more the same size? My other concern might be the weight and whether the stones would stay centered on the chain as one would probably be heavier than the other. I realize that negates the whole asymmetrical design idea but that is where my mind goes. I will be looking forward to the finished piece!

My thoughts travelled to haloing the smaller stone last night too! But perhaps in white stones rather than pink! Thoughts on that?

While pink is beautiful, I think I would agree with you about haloing the smaller stone in white. I think you would get a lot of beautiful sparkle from it. Would they be willing to do a CAD like that for you to get a good visual? Sometimes things seem good until you see them in real time - know what I mean?

Yes, they’ll do an updated cad for sure so that’s great!

Can’t wait to see the CAD! I had a three stone vertical pendant made. It was .50,.60 and .70. If you did something like that you could maybe get a .60 stone for a 20-40-60 pendant but of course that requires more $ and probably takes you far away from your original idea. I just liked the linear look of it.

That’s stunning! Love it! I like the sideways look for me for some reason! But.... I could get another 0.20 and have the 0.4 in the centre.... hmmmm

I love this design! If it turns out you don't care for the second stone haloed, maybe a milgrained bezel would do the trick.

I also love the asymmetry idea

Would a necklace counterweight on the back of the chain help to keep the pendent centered to the front ?
Ive always loved these because i if im going out i wear my hair up.

Thanks everyone! I think I won’t mind the asymmetrical look if it hangs off centre as I love the way this necklace sits which makes me think I’m tolerant enough for it



I do love it as is though! Might get the second halo cad done for confirmation that the single halo is the way to go!

I prefer the fixed position instead of slide!

I also prefer the colour of platinum to that of white gold. The price is similar either way so chose platinum as my preference!
