Pink sapphire push present...then a surprise!

Hi all,
So my wonderful wife had our second child, our daughter, last month. To celebrate the occassion, I went on a very lengthy hunt for months and months prior to find just the right sapphire (as it is the birthstone of September). I eventually was able to find the stone via Richard Homer. After finding the stone it was off to the task of having it set. I knew what I wanted, and decided to contact Whiteflash. Albeit, I heard they no longer set third party colored stones. In talking with them, they would set colored stones sent to them for customers with which they had a past relationship (I have been purchasing & commissioning them for custom work for about 10 years now). I was thrilled to hear it, and was very pleased with the result. More importantly, my wife loved it...well at least she says she does! So that was a month ago and yesterday I received a box in the mail from Whiteflash. I was not expecting anything, and was rather confused! So I'll just show pictures, but I must say my wife and I were very touched by their gesture! First pictures of the pendant.

So this is what was in the unexpected box from Whiteflash. It was such a nice gesture on their part for the birth of our baby girl. It's things like this that make the whole experience more than just a "transaction." I started with Whiteflash when I purchased my wife's engagement stone and ring. Since then I have done multiple diamond and colored stone projects. They have always sent follow up emails or called to make sure we were happy, and to wish us well. The nice thing for me was they always made it a personal experience, something more than just business. With all that said, this still surprised me, in the most grateful way!

Wow, beautiful sapphire and beautiful setting and such a thoughtful gift. I don't know what else to say since I am not a flowery person by nature but the pendant is simply gorgeous and I can't stop looking at it. I am a long time Whiteflash customer as well and find my dealings with them more than "just business" as well. They are easy to work with and I've received chocolates twice from them.

Absolutely gorgeous pendant, and what a nice gesture from WF. It looks like socks on my phone? If so, random parent tip: keep them together when you take them off and put them in the laundry (folded over). Otherwise you'll end up with tons of unmatched singles.

Thanks everyone, the basket is a very cute version of a diaper basket. The diapers are wrapped up so that the socks are the "hat" and the nursery cloth is the "diaper" so it looks like a bunch of little bundled up babies. There are a bunch of diapers underneath, as well as a really nice stroller blanket. I'll attach some closer pictures of the "babies."

Wow! Such a beautiful pendant and stone! You both will treasure that for a long time. Whenever you hold your cute baby's feet in those socks you will remember that nice gesture and the pendant and you will feel all warm and fuzzy again (although you probably already would be holding a baby's little feet!)
