Platinum Ritani semi-mount & eternity band

Last weekend, I sadly removed the asscher that was in the semi-mount. The ring no longer fits my right hand middle finger because my knuckle got much larger, and I can't size it down to fit my ring finger. I can still squeeze them onto my left hand middle finger but I'd never wear them there because my oec will probably beat them up and make them cry. It was a sad day because I've had them for a few years, but the diamond will be reset as a pendant soon so I'll still be able to wear it.

I considered setting a gem in there and occasionally wearing it on my left hand, but none of my gems fit, and I'm not buying anymore gems because i have too many already. Hope someone here can give them a new home. Both rings are in fantastic shape and the diamond was carefully removed from the prongs.

What a beautful set! Ritani really does make wonderful rings.

What size was the asscher that you took out of the setting? Would you happen to know what other sizes and shapes of stones could be accommodated? Finally, are you only selling these as a set or would you be open to considering splitting them up & selling one separately?

These rings really are gorgeous FK!

It used to hold a 5.77x5.5mm, 1.04ct Asscher and I always felt the prongs were swallowing the diamond, so I think a slightly bigger diamond might work as well. A cushion with the similar proportions would work too. A Princess might not work due to the corners, but one might want to ask their jeweler if they can make it work. I don't think rounds or ovals will work either because the support bar in the basket (head?) is straight.

If you are interested in one or the other, message me and we can discuss it. I prefer not to, but I understand it might be easier to sell separately!

Most of my bands have been sold and I only have about 6-7 left, and those are all staying. Oh, maybe some more diamonds, too. De-cluttering makes me want to sell more stuff.

I think so. The box is at the safe so I can't check, but I have a round purple spinel, a round lavendar spinel, and a tanga supernova garnet that will most likely go up, and maybe some blue-green tourmalines. All from Barry and all beautiful, but I stopped wearing gems and just stare at them in the case most of the time. I keep whacking them on everything and it's causing me more frustration than enjoyment. My smaller red spinel has a small nick from my work desk because somehow I managed to catch it on a 1 inch bracket underneath and it got the girdle. The thing is set in half bezels, and only a tiny bit is exposed, and I managed to nick it on the one small piece of my desk that is scratchy and metal. I chipped my cuprian tourmaline on a window, my green tourmaline on the glass door, and I've chipped rubies and sapphires! Gems just aren't meant to be worn by me!

Enough ranting about gems.

I'm keeping most of my oval and cushion tsavs for a special project, but I do have a nice elongated cushion and a trillion tsav that I don't have plans to set. There's only one pure red garnet and that's saved for my sister, sorry! My tangas are magenta-red.

The elongated cushion tsavorite intrigues me. And is magenta a pink color?

Wanted to update on the Ritani semi mount. It can only be sized up 3/4 size, max, which brings it up to 4.75-5. I know it's a small size and the basket also restricts a lot, so if anyone wants to make me a reasonably low offer on just the ering, I might just consider it.
If I can't find a buyer for this I might have to cut a gem to that size and wear it with a plastic sleeve on the bottom on my right hand ring finger.

So that lavendar spinel is only about 6.1mm. I can't find the saved info, but I remember it being a Pamir (?) spinel. Gotta look up my old order confirmations to be sure. I placed it into the Ritani setting and it looks like it is just a tiny bit too small. Wonder if one of my 6.5mm rounds will work? Hmm....

Ritani set is no longer for sale! I found a 6.8mm ROUND gem that should fit!!! It's a little loose for my right hand but I can wear one of those plastic things till I fatten out.
