Platinum vermeil?

Hi all!

I recently bought a ring off ebay, because I loved the setting and want to replicate it for my wedding band. So it''s a reference piece, really. But when it arrived, it is actually really nice!! I''d like to continue wearing it.

The setting is sterling silver with 100 layers platinum vermeil. As I understand it, this is like a platinum-plated setting, right? Any tips on care for this piece?

I''d treat it like any other plated piece personally. Don''t use harsh chemicals to clean it, avoid wearing when you are cleaning, etc. But I''m not sure if there are other specifics to platinum vermeil...
