Hi everyone,
I wonder if anyone else ever delayed joining the list because they continually thought that their proposal might be that weekend? Well, I''ve thought that since the beginning of summer and the waiting is driving me nuts at times!
I have been reading your stories for months now and I can''t tell you how much you have all helped me be more patient while I wait for my engagement. I''m pretty sure he will propose before the end of the year and I''m very, very happy and in love. We''ve been dating for just over two years and talking about marriage and our future together for a long time (almost since our very beginning as a couple). We''ve enjoyed dating each other and all of the stages of our relationship so much and we are finally ready to get engaged! Now, the proposal and ring will be a secret and we (by that I mean me) don''t talk too much about when it will happen. It''s funny because he talks more about the wedding (which will most likely be an elopement or a very small destination wedding) and I laugh and tell him that I can''t talk about that until we are engaged. I''m sure that he is saving for the ring! I know waiting is so hard at times, but I''m grateful for this forum, because reading your posts helps me not drive my close friends and boyfriend nuts!
I hope someone gets engaged this weekend!
