Here are the two diamonds I am trying to choose between:

(1): https://www.adiamor.com/Diamonds/1....medium=ppc&utm_campaign=202307.01&b=5.519&p=1 (bought from Ritani for closer to $5k)

(2): https://www.rarecarat.com/diamond/114689881

I bought the first one after another one I was looking at sold overnight (https://www.stonealgo.com/diamond-details/gia-number-6462286956, could have gotten it for close to $5k, video: https://diamond-assets.ritani.com/GIA-6462286956/video.mp4). However, after buying (1) I noticed the very thin girdle and got uncomfortable, so I started browsing for diamonds again. I like the color and shape of the second one, but I wasn't sure about the girdle, fluorescence, shine, and luster. Face-up (2) looks bigger than (1), but would love to hear experts' thoughts on the two in comparison. Is the girdle in (1) something I should be concerned about?

Let me know if you know of others I should consider. I am trying to keep the budget for the stone around $5k (pre-tax). I have been looking for roughly a 1.5-carat cushion, G-I, VVS1-VS2, 1-1.15-ish L/W ratio, 60-68% depth, 58-66% table. I am typically not drawn to crushed ice-style cuts. Let me know if any other information would be useful.

I love cushions and did take a quick look on what is available. You should ask for an ASET image for each of these. Adiamor hat a $100 off coupon code.

You may want to contact Adam at Old World Diamonds for antique cushion cuts. Here is one I found but he has others not necessarily listed.
This is smaller carat wise and you‘ll need check if it’s eye clean:

Thank you so much for this tip and for the links! I received the images for the second diamond, and the following message, "I see some amount of black and white tones to indicate light leakage. Red tone is dominant however suggesting to us that this diamond is still quite bright enhancing its sparkle and shine. Hope you find these ASET images helpful!". I've never examined an ASET image before so would definitely appreciate hearing other people's opinions!

I will post diamond 1's images when I receive them. What are your thoughts on the girdle size for diamond 1?

The aset looks better than I expected however, I'm not too fond of the darkness that goes across the center.

Diamond (2) is no longer active, must have sold overnight or been old inventory.

Heard back from Ritani for diamond (1)--their vendor contact doesn't have an ASET image. Is that unusual? I also asked Adiamor if they have an ASET image since it is still listed on their website. Let me know if there are any other ideas for trying to get one. Thanks!

Here are the ASET and Ideal Scope images for diamond (1), the one that I purchased.ASET.png

Would love to get people's thoughts on the ASET/Ideal Scope images for diamond (1). Also, let me know if you think a very thin to thick girdle rating is cause for concern (e.g., return the diamond) or if that rating would lead you to pick a particular type of ring setting to protect the girdle. Thanks!!
