Please help decide for 2 ct RB between two Victor Canera settings!

Hi! DH has given me the daunting yet exciting task of finding my dream ring for upcoming anniversary and am leaning towards a 2 ct. RB classic solitaire style ring. After reading though Pricescope for hours, I have narrowed the search down to two Victor Canera settings:

Somehow there are not a lot of pictures of the Trueste ring on the internet.

Would really appreciate pictures from current owners along with pros and cons of each setting. All advice on which one to go for is welcome too.

I think the Gabriella is prettier. But I’m not sure what the buzz is all about... these are very basic.

I am not a current owner of either of those. But from the general advice that a 2ct diamond should be held by at least 6 prongs (the horror stories with 4 prongs). Plus I think the 6 prong knife edge looks very classy! My vote goes to that if I could have one.

That’s exactly how I feel. Smaller diamonds I like 4 prongs.

6 prong it is! It definitely will be more secure, and being the klutz that I am (I keep hitting my watch and hands on walls while walking, don't ask how,) 6 prong is definitely a better option.

I am currently also debating between the VC Gabriella and the Vatche U-113 link here.

The Vatche U-113 has a smoother "donut" transition, which I really like; but in VC Gabriella, the stone is set slightly lower, which is what I like. So now you see my dilemma

I think the Gabriella is beautiful! VC has made that six prong setting swoops and elegant.

Between the first two I like the Gabriella. Between the Gabriella and the U-113 I prefer the U-113. I like how the band sort of thins out
near the head and becomes slightly taller and thinner. They are both so close though, I could be happy with either!

Edit...If Victor would slightly modify the Gabriella for me*, I'd rather have a custom VC setting.

It is not a fair comparison between the Gabriella and the U113. the Gabriella is simple, the U113 is more elaborate. Both are nice but if you have the coin the U113 all the way. Good luck.

I think VC can custom the Gabriella for you, as its handmade they can do any alteration
