Please help in selecting wedding album pic

Howdy folks,
We''re trying to decide which picture of the engagement ring to use in our wedding album. I narrowed it down to these four - I kind of like the single starburst ones, but the side stones look a little dead. The more sparkly/colorful ones are nice, but are maybe more "cute" than "classic," if that makes sense. I would appreciate any input. This is picture 47.

i like 47. the others are cool, but the big 'light burst' is almost too distracting. i think 47 shows the ring the best as well.

haha this will not be easy for you to make a choice!!

i say 46 is my favorite, followed closely by 47. i like how the side stones are on fire as well as the big stone and that you can see the dew drops on the rose to the very right of the picture. both of these pictures look more 'alive' to me with 46 catching me right away over all the others!

I like 46 the best - love the starburst, and the sidestones also glow as well. 2nd runner up would be 47, but I still prefer 46.

46 is nice too, but I prefer 47
The flash in 46 seems to pull the eye downward, whereas the flashes in 47 pull the upward and back towards the flowers. 47 is a nicer diagonal, nicer composition.

Edit* I think the smaller aperture makes for a more cohesive photo in this instance.
It's nicer when the flowers are clear, and part of the whole message.

holy cow what a beautiful ring! totally what i wanted! i think it depends what you are looking for.

if you want a true to life pic 47 is nice to showcase the ring.

48 is powerful with that one light beam!

49 gives off an "ethereal" or "surreal" feeling because of the power light beam and how the rose is out of focus. seems like a "dream" pic if that makes sense. kind of how they do dream sequences in soap operas, everything is in soft focus and light beams are blurred, etc

46 has too many sparkle light beams

I like #47. Reasons are the ring seems to be in best focus in that one, with nothing to distract from the actual diamonds. In the other pictures, there is a bit of blur in the focus on the ring, especially on the side stones. I also think that the huge bursts of light in the other three pictures are distracting. The smaller single burst of light from the center stone in #47 shows just how much sparkle and brillinace the diamond has, without taking anything away from it. The flowers also look the nicest in #47 IMO.

Thanks for your input! Right now, my wife is leaning toward #46. For that page''s layout, the more pronounced starburst (46 vs. 47) seems to work best. Of course, she could always change her mind ...
