Hi everyone. Would greatly appreciate it if you could help me decide between these two diamonds:

3.10 H, VS1. ~$42k, 1.8 HCA score



3.09 H, VS1. $37k I think it only yielded a 2.3 HCA score but there was a scope picture that seemed to look good

Thanks for taking a look! No, doesn’t have to be 3+ ct. Just wanted to see how far I could stretch my dollar. I filtered the table, depth, etc. to what should yield a good diamond and got those two as results. Do you mind sharing what you see what’s wrong with them? Is it the inclusions or something else? Just want to learn so I can search better.

I tried filtering again and found this one. Is this one any good?

Unfortunately, numbers but themselves don't tell the whole story because the numbers are rounded from bunches of numbers (e.g. averages). So numbers only tell part of the story.

The ones you chose have cut issues. The 3.10 isn't symmetrical and has dark areas in between the arrow shafts indicating light leakage.

The 3.09 also has darkness in places it shouldn't and overall just doesn't look great.

Super ideal stones can be found at whiteflash, brian gavin, victor canera, continental diamonds, so the WF one linked aboce isn't to imply that the only vendor who sells this level of diamond.

The adiamor one isn't great either. Again, the darkness where the arrow shafts meet the center isn't good.
